About Chuck
Chuck is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is EMDR Trained. Chuck graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling and has worked for various Federal agencies including the Veterans Health Administration, the Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration, and the US Forest Service. Prior to returning to private practice, Chuck served as the National Career Counseling Coordinator for the US Forest Service's Job Corps vocational training and education program.
Chuck's counseling scope of practice includes Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Career Development/Executive Coaching, Addiction & Dependency, General & Performance Anxiety (stage fright), and Relationship Repair (couple counseling). Chuck's primary mission is to evoke personal growth, adaptation, and emotional development using cognitive-behavioral therapy, including motivational interviewing, and skills training.
Originally from La Verne, California, Chuck spent his teenage years in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the US Army and served as an Infantryman during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon his return, Chuck spent several years in Chicago and eventually established his home in DFW where he has been living since 2018. Chuck enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and reading the latest science fiction novels.
