C. C. Rogers Counseling, PLLC · Little Elm, Texas

A place to do the work that matters.

Focused counseling for individuals and couples who are ready to understand the patterns keeping them stuck, strengthen relationships, and work through trauma with purpose.

A private, home-based setting in the community—thoughtful care without the feel of a busy clinic.

A Different Kind of Setting

Private, personal, and rooted in the community.

Therapy is personal work. Your setting should help you settle in, speak openly, and focus on what brought you there. My Little Elm office is located in a home-based setting with a separate entrance and dedicated counseling space—an alternative to a busy medical office or large clinic.

Appointments are scheduled in advance, allowing for a more intentional, low-key experience. If privacy or the logistics of arriving for an appointment are concerns, contact me beforehand so we can talk through what to expect.

A Moment to Pause

Room to reflect.

The nearby Johnny Broyles Nature Trail offers a quiet place to gather your thoughts before or after an appointment, if that feels useful to you. Time on the trail is optional and separate from the counseling session; therapy takes place in the office or by telehealth.

The goal is not to make therapy another obligation, but to create space to pause, reflect, and carry useful insights into everyday life.

Depth over a one-size-fits-all approach.

My practice is intentionally focused on a few areas where collaborative, direct, and trauma-informed work can make a meaningful difference.

Individual Counseling

Work through anxiety, trauma, PTSD, life transitions, and patterns that interfere with how you want to live. Sessions are shaped around your goals and what is happening in your life—not a preset formula.

How I Work

Honest, collaborative, and practical.

I believe therapy should be compassionate without avoiding difficult conversations. We will work to understand what is happening, identify the patterns that keep repeating, and practice different responses that fit your values and goals.

My approach draws on trauma-informed care, Gottman-informed relationship strategies, and EMDR when clinically appropriate. The aim is not simply to talk about change, but to build understanding and skills you can use outside the session.

A Good Fit Matters

Focused attention. Clear next steps.

This practice may be a good fit if you value a personal setting, want to work actively on specific concerns, and are open to examining your own responses as well as your circumstances. The first step is a conversation about what brings you in and what you hope will be different.

In-person appointments are offered in Little Elm, with telehealth available when appropriate and permitted by licensure and location.
